It would be very hard to find a more numerous crowd where everyone is competing not only by demonstrating dancing skills, but also national costumes. Today, it is truly a celebration of national costume and heritage. On 6 June 1927, the first Lithuanian Song Festival of Klaipėda Region took place. 12 choirs comprising 800 singers and 100 orchestra took part in the event.
