I have a 2004 250 w/the 6.0 liter.I've been having a problem with it overheating.It doesn't happen all the time,usually wen its under a load and at higher rpms.The temp guage will show about normal,then it will peg out for a minute or 2,then goes right back to normal.Fan seems to be cycling properly and ... WebApr 23, 2013 · A lot of the 6.0 guys will replace a thermostat when they're running just a few degrees low. If you're having overheating problems, you might have other problems. If it's not overheating, don't fix what isn't broke. I've only had the truck for a few months now. It hasen't been through a summer here.
