However, the E6 (1986 release) heads raise a red flag to look at closer. A ported E6 should be within a few cfm of a ported E7, if not equal, and the superior swirl generation of the E6 would make it more fun below 3500 rpm, not to mention needing less timing to make peak power. E7s are much better in terms of flow. Just remove the thermactor bump in the roof of the exhaust ports and you gain more flow. I have both sets of heads and went with the E7TE heads.
